In this week’s episode we talk about gratitude.
We start this episode by discussing why it’s difficult for us to experience gratitude.
I draw heavily on the book The Rational Optimist, by Matt Ridley to put some things into perspective.
We talk about the obstacles in our own minds that are blocking our path towards gratitude.
I also draw heavily on the book, The School of Greatness, by Lewis Howes. From this book I bring you the story of Kyle Maynard, a congenital amputee that is an exemplary example of how everybody has reasons to be grateful.
A lot of our discussion has to do with perspective. For more on that check out episode 10 of the podcast.
And in this week’s Call-To-Action we express gratitude. True gratitude that arises from a proper balance of perspective, reflection, and understanding of how uncommon our lives really are.
